KICKING A BALL AROUND DURING THE SOCCER TABLE TOURNAMENT!
In a few hours' time, the Dutch team will kick off its first World Cup match against Senegal. At Huisman, we already put on our ' soccer shoes ' last Friday during the annual table football tournament of the staff association. The 'final' predictions in the Huisman World Cup poule were also made.
In 2019, we renovated our canteen in Druten. Of course, a soccertable could not be missing! During breaks, it is used to its fullest extent.
Soccer table tournamentÂ
This gave our staff association at the time the idea of organizing a table football tournament for members and their partners. Some extra soccertables were rented and last Friday the second edition finally took place. Dozens of colleagues played short games after a delicious buffet, while enjoying a snack and a drink. The 'less sporty colleagues' were able to encourage the participants along the sidelines. There was also an opportunity to play a game of darts. It was a successful evening!

To stay in the mood, we are organizing a Huisman World Cup Poule for our colleagues, just like during the European Championship last year. For this, we use the employee app, which we launched in 2020. Because of Covid 19, we couldn't see each other as often then. Through the 'Huisman app', our colleagues still stayed informed. The app is frequently used for such things as announcements, leave requests, declarations and the Huisman World Cup Poule.

The Huisman World Cup Poule was launched recently. All our employees can take part and win great prizes. Besides the many football fans within our organization, inexperienced ladies and gentlemen also take part. Both entertaining and the topic of conversation in the canteen!
