Personal guidance

For BBL/BOL students, we create a personal training plan so that they can develop 'on the job' with us alongside their schooling. We have also organized a talent class several times in recent years to challenge young mechanics. During this course of 10 half-days, they strengthen their communication and organizational skills and learn to plan accurately. We also prepare lateral entrants for their future jobs. They receive training and participate in projects in order to quickly acquire the necessary professional knowledge.

The Huisman Academy is a place where you can optimally combine working and learning. You get the space to use your talents to the fullest and there are plenty of opportunities to develop yourself.

In our profession, we deal with changing regulations. Therefore, we attach great importance to keeping our knowledge up-to-date. The well-being and health of our employees is also a high priority. Safety training, among other things, is therefore a fixed part of our training program. If desired, we help colleagues take a completely new direction. This is possible within our broad company. After all, we are active in many different fields: from construction to industry and the maritime sector. If a colleague wants to get started with something new, we make sure he/she has the right knowledge in the technical field and in terms of regulations.

Work and learn

To get young people excited about a job in engineering, we work frequently and gladly with schools. We provide guest lectures, organize company visits and sponsor activities. As an SBB recognized training company, we offer excellent (electrical engineering) apprenticeships, traineeships and graduation places. These are alternately at our headquarters in Druten and at our branch in Elst (GLD) or on location. Young people receive a competitive salary/internship payment during their apprenticeship, traineeship or graduation period. They receive a lot of personal attention and enjoy our pleasant company atmosphere, because at Huisman Etech Experts everyone is important, from trainee or student mechanic to manager.
