Collaboration
Together with several colleagues and the PAX Physics teacher, five measurement tasks were designed and worked out. Each assignment involved different skills. Besides the difference in assignments, where different skills were required, the students first had to write an action plan for each assignment before starting the actual practical. They carried out the assignments in pairs or triplets, so here cooperation between students was also put to the test. Afterwards, they had to elaborate and pitch their outcome.
On location
Despite the fact that we visit various primary and secondary schools with some regularity, the Havo students now came to our canteen in Druten several times. There they had all the space they needed to carry out the measuring assignments properly. Despite the pleasant bustle, they also worked seriously and hard and we can look back on a very successful practical!
