Christmas party with many jubilees
It was time again to clear the canteen for our traditional Christmas party and the honouring of our jubilees. There were quite a few this year!
Friday afternoon 15:30 was the time again; our annual Christmas party. After drinks, it was time for Peter and Rob's speech with a look back at 2023.
Jubilees
During the speech, we always take note of the jubilarians we have had in that year, and what a lot we had this year! This is something we are very proud of as a family business. We congratulate Ad Groen, Bastian Fendel, Mirjam van Wegen, Rogier van Kerkwijk and Walter Peters on their 12.5-year anniversaries. In addition, we had no fewer than 11 people who could celebrate their 25 anniversaries in 2023, namely: Alfred Aalbers, Bart Romijnders, Bjorn Schiks, Floris van der Logt, Frank Vissers, Harm van de Werdt, Janneke Jacobs, Jos van Soest, Mark Janssen, Pim Lamers and Roy Zondag. To top it all off, we even had a 40th anniversary; congratulations to Alwies Lukkezen!
Retirement
We were also able to put Peter Oosterwegel in the limelight. After a very pleasant working relationship, he is going to enjoy his retirement. Fortunately, he will still be available for support for some time. We greatly appreciate this, as he can pass on a wealth of experience to our team.
Lottery and Christmas present
After the official part, it was time for the lottery which again included fantastic prizes. Among the prizes were an SLR camera, a TV, AirPods and a BBQ! The winner of our ‘ugly Christmas jumper competition’ from earlier that week was also announced. Floris van der Logt had put on the most original ugly Christmas outfit for the day, winning a game bundle.
Afterwards, everyone could enjoy a delicious buffet and receive the Christmas present. Overall, another very successful afternoon and evening!
