Looking for an internship where you’ll be given real responsibility? With us, you’ll work as a HBO intern or graduate intern on exciting projects that make a difference. At Huisman, you can learn in an environment where your knowledge and insights are taken seriously from day one.
As a HBO intern, you will be part of a project team and work independently on specific assignments. You will be given the freedom to explore, analyse and propose solutions that really make a difference. Graduating students will carry out their own research project in consultation with a dedicated supervisor, with the opportunity to go through the entire process from design to prototype.
Most higher education interns undertake their placements in our hardware and software engineering department, where we design and programme control systems and production lines for a wide range of sectors. There are also opportunities in work planning, the maritime department and support roles such as HR, finance or marketing. Together, we will determine which department and role best suit your studies and ambitions.
As well as a market-based internship allowance, at Huisman you’ll receive personalised guidance and plenty of freedom to shape your internship yourself. Through the Huisman Academy, we provide targeted and professional support for your development. We also offer part-time higher education programmes for students who wish to gain work experience alongside their studies.
